Process Design Engineer

Foreign company is looking for Process Engineer. This work is based on permanent employment condition in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Sakhalin 2 project). Company provides employee and his family mobilization to the project and other good social benefits.
Basic Functions
• Carry out process simulations and optimisation studies for projects; prepare PFD, P&ID, Heat & Material balances and equipment sizing. Preparation of engineering documents and calculations.
• Provide process engineering support for ad hoc studies as requested.
• Establish the actual ( as opposed to design capacities and capabilities of existing field facilities in order to identify potential bottlenecks and scope of optimisation. Relevant appreciation of all other disciplines areas work and interface requirements to process engineering.
• Participation in risk assessment activities such as HAZOP and CHAZOP.

• Hazardous Area Classification
• Safety by Design
• Conversant with engineering software such as Hysys, Flarenet, HTFS, Pipenet or similar

Interpersonal Skills:

• Team worker;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Have the ability to work in teams in a multicultural environment;
Language skills: Fluent spoken and written English
Education: Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience in
• oil and gas engineering required preferably brown field projects
• conceptual, front-end and detailed design experience required
• Field experience in construction and commissioning strongly preferred.
• Experience in an engineering design company/ Russian Design Institute desirable
Russian/CIS experience a bonus as would experience in on-shore projects in cold/ remote regions
